A FREE habit tracking application that bring the good old days of using calendars for tracking progress back. Unllike other solutiuons, HabitBoard does not bloat you with graphs and charts, instead you see progress in a calendar view. Genius isn't it π
Hello to fellow hunters. I would like to introduce you all to my first ever product - HabitBoard and how and why did I make this happen.
I am a nerd for stats and tracking, working a day job as a software dev made me realize that information and stats can show a different angle of the problem.
The pandemic had made me lethargic and my entire schedule was messed up. I already had the idea of the 21/90 rule where you need to perform something for the next 21 days for it to be memorized by the brain as a regular activity. I tried a lot of different habit trackers online and most of them failed because
1. I didn't find the UI intuitive
2. Way too much information. Charts and graphs that don't really make any sense at all.
I wished if it was just easy like the old days where I would look at my calendar and have check marks on the days on which I performed the habits, but I couldn't find anything like it.
Thus HabitBoard was born. It is the most simple app to use as presents the habits that you want to perform and when you want to perform as soon as you enter the app.
For eg.
I wanted to do reading only on weekends and wanted to do running on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Habitboard lets you choose the weekday on which you want to perform the habit and then it automatically shows up in the dashboard on the correct day.
It also has a note-taking feature where you can add logs to your habit and track information and progress. I actually started tracking my weights for workouts in the gym using this feature π.
The simplistic calendar view lets you track all the days you missed and performed to help you stay consistent on your goals.
The app is completely free to use and is available on Android PlayStore.
Would also love to hear your thoughts on such a tracker and features that might interest you.
@genie_park Thank you soo much for such a response. I am happy that my effort is helping someone. We are constantly working to make the app better and also to add more features.
@tforedo Thanks for such a positive response. We are working on an iOS version as well and will be available soon, but until then unfortunately Android is the only version available for now.
