Noticed most chore apps were either bloated, overpriced, or just plain boring—so I built Habitat. It's simple, fun, and actually gets kids motivated with real world rewards that the parents set. There's a 7-day free trial—I'd love your feedback. Thank you!

Is the app on GooglePlay limited to certain countries? I get "This item is not available in your country." I'm from Romania.

@ionutdrutu it’s in the US only right now, just got launched yesterday. Working on the rest of the world getting it in the coming weeks 👍👍

@micahyeah What's blocking this from being usable in Romania or other countries?

@micahyeah Good idea! I'm totally stoked to try it out in Armenia as soon as it drops!

The ADHD-friendly design really shows - my kids actually stay engaged with their tasks. The coin reward system is perfectly balanced; it's motivating without feeling like a bribe. What really works is how it breaks down bigger tasks into manageable chunks. My daughter, who used to get overwhelmed by "clean your room," now tackles it step by step through the app's guidance.

The weekly leaderboard feature has unexpectedly created a positive competitive spirit between my kids. Yesterday, my son voluntarily cleaned the kitchen counter just to edge ahead of his sister's score! And I love that I can customize tasks - we've added homework tracking and instrument practice alongside regular chores.

A small but brilliant feature: the app sends gentle reminders without being annoying. My kids feel more independent managing their tasks, and I've noticed I'm nagging way less. The free version is surprisingly complete, though after trying the 7-day premium trial, the extra features are worth it.

If you're a parent struggling with the daily chore battle, especially with neurodivergent kids, give Habitat a try. It's the first digital solution that's actually stuck in our household. Would love to connect with other parents using this - there's probably lots of creative ways to use it we haven't discovered yet.
