Grant Hunt: Easiest way to find a grant for your social impact project

Hi Product Hunters! Some back story first: I'm tired of myself talking about making products but never actually doing it. It's always been my dream to make products, especially ones that serve the public good and create positive social impact. It's my passion and purpose to create a personally meaningful body of work at the intersection of design, social/public issues and entrepreneurship. So I'm committing to make 1 minimum viable product per month, starting Feb 2018. I'll keep going till I run out of ideas or money, or something takes off in a huge way that requires all my time, or exhaustion kicks in. Whichever comes first. #1mvp1month For my 8th MVP, I made Grant Hunt, a chat bot to find grants for charities and non-profits in the social service sector. There's currently no easy way to search for the right grant, and there's lots of potential to do that with new technologies like chat bots. With the whole AI/chat bot bandwagon going on recently, I also wanted to learn more about chat bots and conversational UI. Personally, I had always wanted to create something for the social service sector in Singapore. Social impact issues are something close to my heart, so this is a great opportunity to make something useful for the sector. It's currently only available in Singapore (for now). This chat bot is for anyone who needs funding for a social impact project. The project might be an idea for a new social impact project, or an existing service/programme that needs a fresh infusion of funds. You might be a social work professional working in a non-profit/charity looking to start a new programme, or an individual passionate about a social cause and want to do something about it. This chat bot is still an MVP and a 🚧work-in-progress🚧. I'd love to add more grants, filters and county/city locations in the future!
