👋 Hey PH, I’m Christian and here together with my co-founder and namesake, @christian_hartung , we are the founders of GPT Driver. We’ve built mobile apps for the last 10 years with Companies like Kitchenful and HelloFresh. ⛔️ The problem In the process, we realized that we and others are facing similar challenges while shipping: - Balancing speed and quality: Startups often need to move quickly, which can lead to cutting corners on QA. Striking the right balance between delivering a high-quality app and maintaining a rapid development pace can be difficult. - Limited resources: Startups often have limited budgets and personnel, which can make it difficult to allocate sufficient resources to QA processes, both manual and automated. - Device fragmentation: With the vast array of mobile devices, operating systems, and screen sizes available, ensuring compatibility and a consistent user experience across all platforms can be a significant challenge. - Maintaining automation scripts: As the app evolves, automation scripts need to be updated and maintained, which can be time-consuming and require specialized skills. ✅ The solution With GPT Driver we’ve built a complementary tool to empower companies with and without dedicated QA teams to: - Set up automated end-to-end tests using simple prompts - Have their tests auto-adjust to new layouts, texts or features - Instantly test builds on multiple devices, without infrastructure setup In a nutshell, you’ll get: 1. GPT Driver Test Editor, to build your prompts and manage all tests 2. Test Cockpit where you can define when and on which devices to run your tests 3. Test reports incl. email notifications and test recordings with device & network logs 4. Slack, JIRA and CI/CD integrations (Github Actions, Codemagik, Fastlane, Bitrise, …) By helping mobile teams use AI to test their apps, we want to enable them to ship faster with more confidence. We believe improved efficiency and reduced manual effort can help accelerate the testing process, allowing companies to bring the app or new features to market more quickly. I'm a heavy user of mobile QA testing (swift) This is definitely the future! Well done! Another pain point is the CI infrastructure. I can run my QA tests on local hardware. But getting it to work in the cloud like GitHub Actions / Xcode cloud. 🥵 Can't wait to follow you guys tho. Gd luck today! 🚀
