Hi PH! I first shared GoodBrief over 2 years ago. Since then, I've been slowly working on it in my free time, and now v3.0 is (finally) ready! Here are some of the new features I wanted to highlight: #1: All-new design! The website has a familiar yet completely new look, designed to be easier to use on both mobile and desktop. Speaking of which... #2: Mobile design: The previous version of the app was not very pleasant to use on your phone. It required a lot of scrolling and tapping all over the screen. In v3.0, I've carefully redesigned the mobile site to position all the important controls right at the bottom of your screen, where your thumb can easily reach them. #3: Exports: you can now save your briefs for later by exporting them as either an Image or PDF. I especially like saving them as images as it lets you bring them into your design software for easy reference. #4: I've made some improvements to the brief generation itself, especially the company names which should now be much more relevant to the industry you selected. I'm planning to continue tweaking this as people keep using the app. #5: Last but not least: dark mode! If that teal is too much for your eyes, you can now enable a soothing dark mode. It will default to your device settings, but you can toggle it by hitting the icon on the top-right. Of course, this update comes with a bunch of boring bug-fixes and behind the scenes stuff as well. My favorite part about making this app is seeing the work people make and hearing how helpful it has been. Thanks for taking the time to check out this little project of mine.
