Golem is an open-source conversational UI focused on design and user experience, while still trying to be featureful! As of now, it only supports the OpenAI's GPT models, but I want it to be a go-to interface for any chat-tuned LLMs in the future :]
You can just grab your API Key from the OpenAI console and start chatting. It saves your conversations locally, but you can also create your own instance of it through Deta Space! It's literally just one click, quite amazing.
This is the first launch just to get the foundational code out of the way, from now on you guys can expect some amazing features to keep rolling out, don't hold your breath!
I started building Golem minutes after ChatGPT was released, when we could hack the API before the general offering and use it for free! The plan was for it to be a simple tasteful way to use API with some cool presets. One week later OpenAI added very strict API usage protection, which made me put the project aside. As a power-user of ChatGPT, I felt like there could be a better way to experience the capabilities of those amazing models, and decided to put some effort into this first version, which I intended to keep peppering with amazing functionalities for the foreseeable future!
