Hello Hunters! We’re excited to introduce you to Gnorman, our alliterating gardening gnome who's here to make gardening accessible for everyone. We worked quickly, creating Gnorman in about a week. This is our first project using OpenAI’s API and also our first Product Hunt launch. Our project blossomed from a passion for gardening, yet we encountered challenges as beginners trying to get started. Many guides seemed to assume prior knowledge that novices like us lacked. That's where the idea for Gnorman comes in, offering guidance in a fun and engaging manner for gardeners at any level of expertise. We have big plans for Gnorman's future, including: * Making Gnorman conversational, rather than processing single prompts * Taking complex inputs to generate tailored growing plans, including timelines and companion planting * Photo-based plant issue troubleshooting for disease and pest control * Integrating GPT plugins for automatic purchasing lists from major retailers * Exporting rich text to send actionable to-do lists via email * Image processing via iPhone capture metadata to provide customized garden layout suggestions We'd love to share Gnorman with the broader builder community and collaborate on improvements and features. We're excited to see how Gnorman can help everyone grow their green thumb!
