But when I get to the store, I can never seem to remember what I like. I made Gnocchi to help me prepare and get the most out of every shopping run without turning it into a chore, but it's evolved into so much more! Unlike many cooking apps, I've put the grocery list front-and-center, and it's got everything you expect: 📲 One tap to add a grocery idea on the go. Stop forgetting to buy things! 🗂️ Keep multiple lists for different stores, or see everything at once. 📕 Collect all your recipes, with a clutter-free cooking mode The core features are 🆓 free forever, and even work offline! But the real power of collaboration can be unlocked by upgrading: 💻 Sync to all your devices, and anyone else you shop with 👯 Collaborate in real time while shopping to organize your grocery runs 🧑🏻‍🍳 Cook together: divide up tasks and stay on the same page 🔍 Add recipes from the internet to your collection This is a labor of love from a solo builder. I've always wanted to make this app, and I've gone through several iterations of it throughout my life. But Gnocchi is the best version I've made by far. I was really fortunate to get a sabbatical from work to really settle in and bootstrap this project and I couldn't be happier with it! I know it may seem a little odd to launch a simple cooking app in 2023 (it doesn't even use LLMs😅), but I truly believe there's room for improvement in this space - in design, sanity, simplicity, and collaboration! My goal is to make Gnocchi a high-quality, sustainable, and ethical little tool to help home cooks like me organize their lives.
