Glass

Your home for photography — now on the web
Glass is a member-supported photo sharing app and community. Launched less than a year ago, we’re now on iOS, iPad, and the Web. No ads, no data-tracking, no engagement algorithms, no VC money, no incoming pivot-to-video.

Hey PH! So excited to bring Glass to the Web! When we set out to build your home for photography, our plans always included an excellent web experience. Appreciate, comment, and, yes, upload from any browser. Being able to upload from the device where you do your editing is a game changer. With our new gallery view and full screen experience, get lost in photos on your biggest screen. New keyboard shortcuts make navigating a Profile or Category a breeze. With today’s Web release, we also released link support across the entire platform. It doesn’t matter if you’re on iOS, iPad, or the Web — links will work anywhere. And, as always, no data tracking, no ads, no engagement algorithms, no upcoming pivot to video. Sometime this summer, we’ll be releasing Sign-in with Email and Subscriptions on the Web. At that point, anyone will be able to become a member of Glass. No matter their platform or phone of choice. (Android, we’re talking about Android.) Glass is entirely member-supported with no outside funding. Memberships cost $4.99/month or $29.99/year. All memberships come with a two week free trial. Cancel anytime. Happy to answer any questions about our future plans or Glass for the Web. We hope you’ll give Glass a shot!

Love how much this team is executing — two months ago they launched Glass 2.0 on iPad — and now they've launched on the web. 🚀

seems your links are not set correctly. https://glass.photo works tho. But can't realy find the web version it's just a landing page for the app?
Tom Watson
@phoheisel Should be all good now, and there's a Sign In link in the header. Of note, you'll still need to sign up through the app until later this summer. Thanks for checking us out!

@twatson @phoheisel website link on PH shows glass.photo but goes to the iOS app

@phoheisel @t55 If you're already a member and have the app installed, it'll send you right to the app! You can always read about the launch here though: https://glass.photo/highlights/g...

@twatson @phoheisel I meant the 'Get It' button here on PH. The popup menu says 'website' with the glass.photo url, but it links to the app store. @chrismessina should be able to fix that.
