Gigagig is a flexible gig platform where you can hire local experts to complete location-specific tasks. Meanwhile, members can also find gigs to earn extra cash by leveraging where they are. By the way, Gigagig is pronounced “giga-gig” — giga as in a billion.
Gigagig was essentially built out of necessity. We found ourselves needing a gig platform where we could recruit for a miscellany of tasks all over the world. And in addition to flexibility, it is also important to us (and most likely to our members as well) for the platform to serve as a trust layer. The work approval system on Gigagig means there is no risk of dishonest persons disappearing on you as soon as you wire them money. Instead, funds will only be released to your Gigsters after you have approved their completed work right on the platform.
Likewise, Gigsters can rest easy knowing that the gigs’ funds are secured in an escrow, awaiting their job completion. This saves the hassle of having to chase down delinquent payments themselves — seasoned freelancers would probably know how much of a headache this could be.
With these considerations in mind, our mobile-friendly web app is thus born.
We hope Gigagig will not only be a community for people and businesses to easily hire across the globe, but also a place for local experts or digital nomads to make some extra cash literally anywhere, anytime.
As a big believer in Gig economy being the next big thing in terms of exchanging skills for money - this looks like a great platform.
Congratulations on the launch, guys! :)
