Chat with your friends, family, or coworkers anonymously. Create private chats and invite whoever. Messages to your room are fully encrypted, colored randomly, and erased after 12 hours. Be completely honest with each other. Or don't. No one will ever know.
Hey PH,
Excited to introduce ghoulchat--an anonymous group chat app. Messages color randomly every time you enter the room, are encrypted, and delete forever from the database after 12 hours. Create private rooms and invite people via link--only the room owner can approve people to join. You can see who's in the room (and their phone number), but not attached to messages.
You can be completely honest (as long as your chat is larger than 2...) with your friends, family, or coworkers. "Don't shoot the messenger", sounds good in theory but it's sometimes hard to separate the two. Suggest plans, try out jokes, get something off your chest, gossip, brainstorm, whatever it may be--it won't be traced back to you.
I've been using it with various groups of friends for a while now, and it's freeing to chat with no preconceived notions or biases. You can try to guess who's who, pretend to be someone else, or even just stir the conversation with yourself if things get boring. Now when I use regular group texts, I find myself wishing they were in ghoulchat.
Right now it's iOS only in the US and Canada, but will be adding additional countries soon.
Check it out! Would welcome any and all feedback.
Thanks,
Chris
