Run Network Tools from Multiple Geographic Locations
The GeoNet API lets you run common network tools from servers that are located around the world. The purpose is to provide an API to help developers identify different network behaviour depending on the region that the end-user is located in.
Websites and other services are increasingly behaving differently depending on where the end-user is located (ex. European users might get a different website IP than users connecting from the US). We needed a way to more efficiently test connectivity and other network-related issues from different vantage points around the world. We created the GeoNet API to help run commands such as "ping" from multiple geographic locations and quickly collect the results.
