Hi everyone!

Following ChatGPT's study mode, Gemini is now launching its own guided learning mode.

It acts like a personal learning companion, breaking down problems step-by-step and using questions, visuals, and even quizzes to help you build a deeper understanding.

With the back-to-school season just around the corner, Google has also extended its educational offer for the AI Pro plan through October. It's clear the education market is a space everyone is competing for.

@zaczuo thank you Zac on behalf the guided learning team!

@zaczuo Interesting to see how quickly AI tools are evolving into full-on learning companions. 📚 With both ChatGPT and Gemini pushing guided learning, the “AI tutor” era might be arriving faster than we thought.

this could be a real boost for my study routine. I tend to rush through problems but guided steps might help me slow down.

does this adapt its guidance based on how well someone is answering or is it more of a fixed path each time?

Nupur Jain
@barrett_hayes thanks for asking - it’s not a fixed path. The guidance adapts based on how you're engaging with the topic. We'd love to hear any feedback you have, so please keep it coming!
