@slava_bobrov Actually, someone had the idea in the early 2000's. There was a website back in the days which had a similar huge collection of quotes. The website wasn't updated for a long time, so I decided to build a new one on my own. Unfortunately, I don't know how the website was called so I can't find it in the Internet Archive.
Hi Product Hunt!
Game Quotes is one of my oldest projects, dating back to 2011. It's an archive for quotes from videogames.
A few weeks ago I decided that my aging site Game-Quotes.com needed a huge bucket of fresh paint, and a new solid foundation too. The old website wasn't updated for three years and I couldn't make any changes without breaking something else.
Fast forward to the last week, when I published the new website. It is built with PHP as the old one, but now uses Laravel 8 and Tailwind CSS. It was a great experience to revive a crumbling project.
Today I would like to introduce it to the Product hunt community. Registrations are not open yet, but you can sign up to get a notification once it's ready.
