Easiest to use music alerts app that notifies me about new albums from my favourite bands and artists!
Email notifications allow you to get updates about new music without having to actively seek them out. This can be especially useful if you have a busy schedule and don't have the time to constantly check for new releases.
I have a large music collection and a broad taste in musical artists. I don’t subscribe to music streaming services because I prefer to manage, build, and own my collection music. A constant problem I experienced was not knowing when my favorite artists released new songs or albums. I previously used iTunes artist notifications, but it left something to be desired. iTunes did not notify me when new releases occurred :( I tried other notification services, but none of them gave me the timely or accurate notifications that I desired. I was so excited when I discovered Friend’s Tapes. Initially I was skeptical of the free service, but after using it for almost a month, I am extremely happy with the service. Friend’s Tapes provides the perfect solution, notifying me via email whenever one of my favorite artists releases new content. In the limited time I have been using Friend’s Tapes, I have already discovered multiple releases that I was not aware of. I love Friend’s Tapes! I especially love the Friend’s Tape feature where it sends me the latest released song/album for a new artist that I have added to my notifications.
