Build a resume that recruiters like to see. This resume builder was inspired by advice from actual recruiters for Fortune 500 companies. It costs nothing to use and helps you build a resume that lands you a job.
Hi 👋 I'm Brady
A while back I was trying to make a resume. I tried to use some online builders, but they were either clunky or cost money...
And some even signed me up for a subscription just to download a resume 🙄
But how could I know that my resume was good? Getting a job was always hard and I was getting almost no feedback... so I went to Reddit. I started hunting threads like this one to find a good resume template from an actual recruiter
I made my resume, then paid a FAANG recruiter to give me some tips
But this was a lot of work, and I knew that most people weren't doing it. So I decided to make a tool that anyone can use that will give you a good resume every time... for free! There is nothing in the app that's behind a paywall or, heaven forbid, a subscription.
Enjoy :)
@anastasiia_stepko I really hope so. Losing a job is such a horrible experience
I haven't. Actually I don't have any social media, haha. So LinkedIn is perhaps an untapped gold mine for me... but having social media isn't a price I'm willing to pay
Perhaps someone will share it on LinkedIn and it'll get some traction
Congratulations on the launch!🎉 I've tried, the template is impressive. I suggest you could consider integrating GPT-4o, which could help generate resumes based on professional recruitment experience, potentially enhancing the effectiveness.😊
@zenda1122 I love this idea. I asked my mentor; he and I are looking into it now
The biggest challenge with using AI is cost. AI credits cost money, and I'm not sure how or if I want to monetize this product... any ideas?
@bradyc Nowadays, many LLM have become quite affordable. The free version can continue as it is, and if users want to utilize the capabilities of AI, it would be reasonable to charge accordingly. A subscription might not be suitable, but charging based on the number of generations should be an option. This is just a suggestion for your reference.
@zenda1122@bradyc You could add instructions to install Ollama, since it's cross-platform, local and free. It might be slower than online, but it's still free and easy enough to use. You could access the LLM through it and send the results back to your tool.
