Hello. I'm super excited to launch For A Piece. I'm the CEO CTO and CMO of this project that I've been working on for the past 5 months. It's been a challenging project to build up a jobs with equity. One of main challenge is there isn't enough jobs out there that are sharing equity and salary. I don't believe in equity only projects unless you're a founder and your equity matches that belief. In order to populate my site I also curate jobs that doesn't share equity but it's a remote programming job. My goal is to get enough paid subscribers to wean out listing that do not display any equity.
As a dev. I've seen so many coworkers leave as they find new and better opportunities. These have been good companies. When I talk with these coworkers they mainly get better paying jobs. Its not because the other company had a better/cooler product. I feel we can create a better bridge in this disconnect with equity.
I'd appreciate any feedback from current job hunters and companies. What would make your hunt easier? What you're looking for? What you like/dislike about the product.
