Hey Product Hunt! ππΌ
Iβm Sai! As a designer at heart, fonts are important to me when working with any programming and graphic design projects.
A majority of the time we donβt remember the fonts that we downloaded. To make matters worse, custom downloaded fonts are usually buried amongst hundreds of other default font families on a Windows computer. π€¦π»ββοΈ
As a result, FontScan was developed. Now, FontScan makes it effortless for designers and developers to discover any previously downloaded fonts inside a beautiful interface. β‘
Why is it Windows only? In the FontBook app in macOS, there is a tab called User and it displays all the fonts that were custom installed by the user. However, Windows doesn't have a similar feature and no third-party tools were available online. I set out to build FontScan for Windows. π
I developed FontScan to solve a problem that I was constantly facing and Iβm publicly releasing it after realizing that there might be others out there who would benefit from this solution. π‘
Questions or feedback? Iβd love to hear it! ππΌ
