I have been working with digital publications for a while, I always needed an ePub reader for my Apps, as a designer and developer I have decided to create one.
This is an Open Source reader and parse for ePub format, basically this features:
- Custom Fonts
- Custom Text Size
- Text Highlighting
- List / Edit / Delete Highlights
- Themes / Day mode / Night mode
- Handle Internal and External Links
- Portrait / Landscape
- Reading Time Left / Pages left
- In-App Dictionary
- Media Overlays (Sync text rendering with audio playback)
My inspiration comes from apps like NeuBible, iBooks, Oyster and more.
