OKRs is a framework to define and tracking objectives and their outcome. It became the IT industry standard but they work for individuals as well. If you have problems with commitment or just want to focus and finish your work, FocusOKR is for you.
Hello makers and hunters.
At the end of a quarter, I planned the release of a tool that helps me make things done. Some of you, like me working on (side) projects, and like me have a problem with finishing work. When we lost initial enthusiasm and momentum it's hard to release the final product.
I found out that the Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) framework works for me. I created an inspiring objective and measurable key results and focus on them during a quarter.
OKRs are a very popular framework used by Google, Uber, Intel, LinkedIn, and many more IT companies and startups. People just started to discover its application in personal life. Beside notes or spreadsheet, I didn't find service Personal OKRs on Internet. This is why FocusOKR was born - first OKR platform oriented on personal us.
What makes FocusOKR different from other Objective and Key Results SaaSes?
🧗 Simple and created for individuals. It is easy to plan objectives, track key results and share them with a significant one.
✅ Weekly planning. You can create a task for each key result. With TODO list directly bellow your objectives, it will be easier to you keep track of your progress.
💜 Personal touch. You can ask me to review your objectives and key results. Creating inspiring objectives and measurable key results for them is hard at the beginning and I want to share my knowledge and ideas with you.
If you not sure about OKRs right now, I encourage you to read about the topic from articles curated on https://app.focusokr.com/knowled...
Thank you, Jacek. I definitely will. After all, FocusOKR is a tool created for my personal needs (I found keeping track for KRs in spreadsheet very annoying).
I don't like the idea of "It's free (Now)".
Please stipulate a period (e.g. until the end of the year) for the Free Trial, so that people can decide whether they want to commit to your product or not, even if you later realize you need to extend it or that it should've been shorter.
I would hate to dedicate time to it and then realize I don't want to pay, but that my free trial has expired.
@aviggiano Hi, that's a good suggestion. I'll update landing page later Today. But to dispel your doubts - FocusOKR will not have paid accounts till the end of the year.
For Q4 my goal is to make the app even better, acquire more users and eventually implement a paid account solution. But paid accounts will go live in 2020.
Additionally in the future, it will be probably one quarter for free before you have to pay (but this is my assumption at the moment so please don't quote me on that).
@kamilpowalowski Great! Thank you for your response. I'll definitely check it out, since our company is trying to implement personal OKRs and I am in charge of evaluating tools to help us with that. I'll ping you later on to give some feedback.
