Hi Everyone, My name is Wei Liang, co-founder of Flames. For my last startup venture, as it was the first time we did a startup, we the co-founders went through the pain and consequences of not knowing what should be done. We did things that we regretted and sometimes these decisions resulted in irreversible consequences. Wouldn’t it have been great if we could have spoken to fellow startup founders who may have encountered the same problem before and learn how they power through it? What if we could have been matched to fellow founders from the market we are in, their experience sharing would have been invaluable - We would have minimized the risk of making wrong decisions. Rather than hearing from mentors or startup founders who give broad advice to your questions as they may not have encountered them before, shouldn’t there be a more efficient way of getting more specific, real world advice from a founder who had suffered like you did but managed to resolve the challenges? My co-founder and I decided there has to be a better way and thus we launched Flames - a platform where you post a question, get matched to and learn from a fellow founder. We may not yet have a vast network of founders and thus may only be able to serve certain countries for a start. However, we would still love to capture what you wish to learn more from other founders. Even if we cannot serve you now, we will keep you informed once our network has grown to your region.
