Hey everyone! Prefer to hear this comment in your language instead? I'll read it aloud for you here.
Group chat needed translations without copy/paste to Google Translate or downloading language packs. We built it. It's Seamless, Automatic and Free!
But we wanted to change how people talk by leveling up how they speak with Voice Translations.
Your voice, their language. And vice versa. Ask us for an early access code for voice clones.
Plus, there's tons of other goodies in there that you won't find in WhatsApp. Ask an AI bot that can search and summarize, and location ping.

Ever been confused by a phrase like "raining cats and dogs"?
FlaiChat automatically translates AND explains idioms so you always understand the full meaning!
Both @anaid and I feel the problem of multilingual chat on a daily basis among our extended families. That's why we teamed up and made this product that's close to our hearts. Both of us are techies with a deep interest in languages. That's why you'll notice that the translations are better than just surface level stuff you get from Google Translate or even DeepL.
We know that Product Hunt attracts a global audience. We'd love for all of you to try out tricky phrases, idioms and proverbs in your own languages in FlaiChat and share your results (English translations) with us. We'd love to get feedback from as many language speakers as possible.
Consider it a challenge to stump the AI. 🤔
@anaid @chetanahuja This is sweet. We have a running gag for "Kung walang tiyaga, walang nilaga" to which I reply "Sounds delicious". Can't wait to try out.
FlaiChat
@anaid @georgefernandez I had to feed it to FlaiChat to see what this means. This is what I got in English translation:
Original: Kung walang tiyaga, walang nilaga
Translation: "If there is no perseverance, there is no stew" (Perseverance is necessary to achieve something worthwhile).
Was it right?
@anaid @chetanahuja Yes that is correct.
FlaiChat
@anaid @georgefernandez Fantastic. Great test case.
So true! Even when I translate, I often re-prompt to get the perfect tone. Do you think this could translate dialects into English as well?
And this is exactly what I need ! Congrats on the launch 🎉

@kay_arkainAll the team members (who total about 9 languages among us) have had a lot of fun testing obscure parts of our languages against the AI. And have had good amount of success. I'd love for you to test on your language and share some feedback.
