It's a cute idea, but let's be honest--AI content generation has a long way to go. I'll leave it to Flacked AI to explain why.
=== Flacked AI on Flacked AI: ===
What if AI content writing still has a long way to go? AI content writing is still not as good as human writing and there are many issues in the industry. One of the biggest issues is that AI content writing is not yet able to make the jump to deep content writing. Many AI content writing companies are start-ups and the budgets for AI content writing are too low for them to be as comprehensive as human writers. This leaves many AI content writing companies scrambling for ways to make money.
Every day, the little robot GPT-3 writes words on the chalkboard. GPT-3 likes to write letters in green color and words in blue. The GPT-3 always writes the word "the" in green and the word "the" in blue, no matter what the topic is. Everytime the GPT-3 writes "the" in blue, the GPT-3 is guessing what the next byte sequence will be.
"Because of this, GPT-3 is like a child, only interested in what's immediately in front of it, unable to develop an idea properly." This is how a research paper by O'Sullivan and colleagues from the University of Aberdeen describes how a gene called Gpt-3 influences the development of the human brain. This gene, which is responsible for producing the neurotransmitter glutamate, is crucial for the development of the brain and the nervous system.
While artificial intelligence can be a great tool, it's not always the most reliable. That's why in many cases, people resort to human-made content generation. Even with the best of intentions, AI content is often too technologically complicated to be created by a human. That's why while artificial intelligence is a cute idea, it's ultimately just another case in point for why AI content generation is still just a pipedream.
@bn_s to be honest, if you generated all this using Flacked AI then I'm amazed. Now back to the point, we're not marketing ourselves as a replacement for human writers, instead, we are assisting them. Yes, I agree AI has a long way to go in terms of full-fledged content creation, but, paired with a human writer, it can have an exponential boost in their productivity.
The problem is, it's a little like pulling out a food processor just to dice an onion. We get the initial burst of productivity, but we have less control over the end product. What's worse is that we end up faffing around so much that the usually inferior end product ends up taking just as long as doing it the old meat-powered way.
Take the Guardian's GPT-3 article, for example. Sure, it only took the splicing together of 8 attempts to produce it. And they claim it took less time to edit than some human op-eds. But read it properly--it's just an assemblage of random brain farts that, if it weren't for the "OMG AI" angle, wouldn't even pass as a high-school essay.
Ultimately, writing is not about producing something grammatically and syntactically correct (which GPT does brilliantly) but about coherently (and convincingly) communicating ideas. This is what takes time when writing, and it's something we're still yet to see any AI do, even with heavy human intervention.
