What do you think? …

Hussein Yahfoufi
For true private browsing, it needs to go through some VPN connection. Is that included too?
Nicholas Sheriff
@husseinyahfoufi Yeah I don't think this is I think it's exactly how Google Chrome works which is deceptive really. Everyday people don't know this but you aren't really browsing privately.
James Young
@satefan Unless I'm missing something about this particular product, I believe the point that @husseinyahfoufi made is still valid and that the 'deceptive' comment made by @nicholassheriff may have sidetracked this thread a bit. There's still the issue related to Private Browsing not completely protecting a user from all possible tracking scenarios that might be of concern. Therefore, a VPN is typically one of the easier options for going this last mile in making a browsing session 'private', no?: "Even if you use private browsing, anyone who has access to the network you use to connect to the Internet can potentially see what you’re doing and pin it to your Internet Protocol (IP) address, which can potentially be traced back to your router — and your address. A VPN, or virtual private network, lets an external server act as a buffer between you and the Internet. Now, anyone who’s watching can only see the VPN’s IP address. Perhaps more importantly, your data is encrypted going to and from the VPN server. You can use a VPN at home or on the road, so this is probably one of the safest ways to surf if you really need to use public Wi-Fi..." source: http://www.thesimpledollar.com/w... So, that said, how does this new Firefox Focus product compare to competing products like Aloha Mobile browser or Opera VPN mobile for example?
Hussein Yahfoufi
@jydesign thanks and agreed. For those wondering, here is a link to the Opera VPN which I guess could be used in addition to Firefox Focus Opera VPN for iOS: Free unlimited ad blocking VPN browser via @ProductHunt https://www.producthunt.com/post...

I love it! Does the product map have any timeline for tab support?
