@bunsen Auston, that's a great question. Here are a couple of the main differences:
1) The Firefly uses pure convection heating and only heats when you're inhaling. So you get much better vapor and the complete flavor of your material. All oven style vapes (those that heat to a set temp) actually off-gas in the 1 to 2 minutes it takes to heat up. They also continue heating even when you're not using it. That really degrades all the more volatile components like terpenes (the actual flavor compounds) which vaporize at lower temps.
2) The Firefly works amazingly well with concentrates. The PAX can't even do concentrates.
3) The Firefly is ready instantly the PAX takes around 1 minute to get up to temp. The Crafty takes 2 minutes. Others about the same.
@bunsen So overall, the Firefly is a much higher quality vapor, is much faster and responsive and works with all the materials you would want. Also, you can check out the Vape Critic review. He does a good job of looking at all the vaporizers in the market right now.

@bunsen to add to Sasha's reply, I wanted to share this review that compares the Pax 1 vs the Firefly 1. It covers many of the points he made, and a few more:
