For instance, you can decide whether to enable alerts for specific devices when they go online or offline. Most users tend to monitor only their most important devices. As for the event timeline, users often rely on it to see if any unknown devices have joined their network or to track when a particular device returned home. I have been using Fing for about three months now, and I must say it's a fantastic networking utility. I find Fing to be very user-friendly and easy to use. It allows me to see my entire network and all the devices connected to it at once, which makes network management much more manageable. However, I have noticed that some of the features are not complete or well thought out. For instance, the "Access point has insufficient protection" alert does not provide sufficient information on what exactly is wrong or how to fix it. I think the developers need to go through the app and look at all the "little things" to ensure everything is properly worded and executed. Despite these minor issues, I still find Fing to be the best app for viewing home network status and overall home network management. No other app has yet to do what Fing does, and I am impressed by its ease of use and the ability to see my network's overall status.
