this looks pretty and bright for non-techie users.
personally, i don't see myself subscribing to a one purpose offline app. especially if it's main functionality can be replaced with a simple "du -a . | sort -nr | head" command.
@gopietz Dear Pietz, Thanks so much for taking your time to write to us, we are in agreement with you its easy for developers and techies like us who knows commands even then many felt there should be an app thats easy and handy where we can quickly checkout the files thats occupying the system. Thanks so much for the feedback.
Dear Product Hunters!
We are MacAppStudio and we create apps that make lives easier, happier and processes simpler.
FileSumo app was created for a need that we ourselves had, a pain point that we faced - to remove huge files that were cluttering and slowing down our Macs. Our first app LiveDesktop was featured by Product Hunt and went to to be featured in LifeHacker and Apple itself.
We sincerely believe that FileSumo will be a helpful tool for all of Mac users across the world. Please do try it and provide your feedback or comments and we are happy
Thanks for your support and love!
Feel free to shoot us your questions and feedback.
With Lots of Regards and Love

@jakewesorick Thanks for taking your time to write to us. Apple is pushing all developers to subscription model indirectly with their reports in iTunes connect focusing on subscriptions. I also believe thats a great strategy for developers as selling an app for 0.99 is a cut throat competition and it kills developers and the value given to customers. May be the future is subscription, where the users can use it will until its subscribed. Again this is a huge debatable topic, we are trying to do something and lets see how it goes.
@ivanwwh Thanks so much for taking your time to write to us, very happy and glad to hear that you like the interface and our team has really worked hard towards making it simple and neat. They would be happy to hear your comment. For us time is money and we wanted a handy utility which quickly tells us the huge files which can be deleted in seconds from the menu bar thats the USP.
