A few months ago, we ran into an unintended consequence of using Slack for most of our team communication. We weren't paying as much attention to Basecamp posts and we were missing out on super helpful Basecamp email notifications.
We're a remote team, so any communication issues can become big problems!
We built Field Trip to send Basecamp notifications to Slack so your team can stay up-to-date with everyone's work. When someone finishes an action in Basecamp, a notification is sent to Slack a few minutes later.
Field Trip will send anything in your Basecamp 2 or Basecamp 3 activity feed to Slack. Messages arrive in Slack within a few seconds if you're using Basecamp 3 or up to 10 minutes if you're using Basecamp 2. The messages don't @mention you, so everyone can stay focused on work and check out what the team's been up to when you're out of concentration mode.
