Content as we know it is broken. The way content is consumed is becoming enjoyed less by the public. This is why we built Fiction. Imagine it like "Mad Libs" where at the end of each chapter of a given story, you can dictate how the story goes.
Content as we know it is broken. The way content is produced, distributed, and consumed is becoming less and less enjoyed by the public. We have been looking at regret as a soft metric: what percentage of time spent on a consumption app is actually enjoyed?
We realized 3 things:
(1) Content isn't created for individuals, one piece of content is made for millions to enjoy.
(2) Personalized content cannot be distributed at scale on legacy platforms. They are setup to publish 1 post to a million of people, not the other way around.
(3) Consuming content is not interactive. Doomscrolling should be a thing of the past.
This is why we built Fiction. Imagine it as a "choose your own adventure / mad libs style" where at the end of each chapter of the story, you can dictate how the story develops. Additionally, based on a your interests, we create the first chapter of a new story that we think you would like. It's content made for you.
