Congratulations on the launch! I wonder, how does your landmark detection differ from mediapipe or other opensource models?
Oleg Tagobitsky
@ekarp Thank you very much for the support! Honestly, at the moment, the landmark detection feature is considered a secondary priority for us. Therefore, we currently support a limited number of landmarks, fewer than what MediaPipe offers. However, we have focused on accuracy, ensuring that the landmarks we do support can be detected with high precision. Our primary focus has been on the detection of faces and, more importantly, the extraction of high-quality embeddings for each detected face. These embeddings allow for the comparison of different faces with high confidence, enabling the development of solutions related to face verification, matching, searching through databases, etc. Additionally, if you need assistance, we can help with the development of custom computer vision solutions on top of our API.

Wow, this Face Analysis API sounds really impressive! I can see how it could be incredibly useful for projects that require facial recognition. I'm curious to know if it can also detect emotions from facial expressions. Additionally, have you tested it with different lighting conditions and angles? I think that would be an important factor to consider for accuracy. Great job on creating such a valuable tool!

@andrew_leader Thank you for the comment! Speaking of different lighting conditions and face orientations (frontal/profile) - it works well; we pay special attention to this during development and testing. Emotion recognition is not supported right now; however, our team is constantly working on improvements, and it is included in our to-do list.
