Fables.ink is a new platform that aims to replace PDFs while playing RPGs The website has a built-in markdown editor capable of linking contents, you can link a monster or spell anywhere in your campaign or mechanics from other creators. Also, make money)
The whole idea started while playing DND and realizing I had 22 tabs open for the mechanics, monsters, spells, scenarios, items, etc.
The goal of the project is to bring all those PDFs into a single platform to easily access the information reducing a lot the usage of tabs, which increases the gameplay experience for the game master and for the players, reducing costs, and stress levels.
Today in the market of homebrew content and not very popular mechanics, you can only get access to free materials through forums and a few other websites are selling (for a HUGE cut) a simple PDF version.
Fables.ink is bringing the whole experience inside the website, with the markdown for content creation, content linking (most popular mechanics and also other people's content), versioning control, party group (share content by group), dice roller, marketplace and much more to come soon (including VTT integration).
Another point while developing the website, all the other mechanics besides DND, have almost no support tools, Fables.ink is also aiming to fix this issue making the experience for any mechanic better.
Please, feel free to contact me with any questions.
And I hope you can enjoy the hard work we put into the website.
