I appreciate the good intentions behind this product, but its funky name is just to catch attention like it did mine and nothing else.
The prices of the tools are too low to be true and very hard to believe for the prospects that they will be launched in next 35 or 76 days.
As a free plan user of Trello in the past and still uses it where necessary. The real question is, why would someone like me or a manager of a team choose GuavaTeam without knowing what it includes or not?
Apart from that, I really like the UI of the website.
Good job, Martin!
@shahza1bmushtaq Hey !
Thanks for the feedback !
Prices are low because I want them low. Im not interested about money
Im just here to change the subscription system that we are all tired off that's why it's that low
Im alone and on this project for now and I just want a maximum of people to know and use what I do
Apps are pretty much done (GrapeLink is 100% done) im just launching them one by one
And launching now on ProductHunt to see if people are interested !
Fcksubscription is a suite of SaaS striped down to their essential features, you will have every information at the launch of each app don't worry !
There are a few (big) problems with the single payment business model:
- You have little motivation to keep growing the product as the customer has already paid once
- Your underlying server costs will all be subscription based, and you will realize the pain as your software grows
- Marketing spend and salaries are also monthly (not one time) and again you'll realize this as you grow
Probably gonna be labelled as a dinosaur or SaaS-lover here, but I highly doubt that one-time payment is the future for SaaS or software. Regardless all the best
@dhruv_bhatia I had the exact same thought when I came across this product. The concerns you’ve raised are valid, especially in the context of sustainability and growth. That said, it will be interesting to test the product once it’s launched and see how they address these challenges.
Good luck for the launch @martin_bonan!
