@viktor_shpudeiko thank you for your question! A fairly recent systematic review and meta-analysis conducted by Zeng et al. (2020) aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of acupressure in relieving cancer-related fatigue. The study analyzed data from randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and found that acupressure significantly improved cancer-related fatigue in cancer patients. We were awarded a Phase I Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Grant by the National Cancer Institute (NIH). In our Phase I study, we demonstrated cancer survivors could accurately and consistently self-administer two types of acupressure protocols using EnergyPoints. They were also able to connect and monitor their EnergyPoints health data with their fitness tracker. Although a feasibility study, the findings provided a preliminary clinical signal to support the effect of the app on fatigue. Users were tired less often, and fatigue severity improved.
