What!? How are you gonna get anything done with a single button keyboard!?
It takes anything you have previously written and automatically turns the into emojis. Like this:
Emojimo, an app that should exist within the keyboard, launched 4 months ago before iOS 8 supported custom keyboards. Double upvote for the custom emoji translation:
Downloading now. 😄👍
I prefer Emojiyo. [http://www.producthunt.com/l/456...] typing full sentences to then convert to emoji seems like a waste of time. emojiyo has search and will also suggest based on sentences you type (if thats what you are in to)
@msg Thanks for your comment Michael. I love Emojiro, both from design and implementation perspective (their monkey logo is so cute) However, our goal for Emojimo wasn't to provide search or suggest sentences, but make typing a delightful process.
Having a suggestion banner to choose from is nice, but having things pop up is a surprise. Some people prefer control, others prefer surprises. I guess when it comes to emojis we are the latter.
@msg Thanks for your thoughts. Part of our logic is that search has taken over our lives. We look for answers, we look for love, we look for cool new stuff (ProductHunt makes that one easy). We want emojis to just appear. Give our app a try; it's a fully functional keyboard that translates emojis on-the-fly as you type.
