Emberly combines mind-mapping and note-taking, allowing users to store notes, files, and bookmarks in organized visual nodes. Enhanced with AI features for learning and collaboration, it's perfect for students and professionals seeking efficient organization.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
Gina here; after three years of development, I'm excited to share Emberly with you today! 🎉
My co-maker and I were both struggling with organizing information, and after trying countless folder systems and note-taking apps, we discovered that a mind-map visualization was great for messy heads like us. It helped us remember and locate our notes more quickly, and as such, we decided to build Emberly with the purpose to empower like-minded knowledge seekers. Our goal is to create a tool that declutters the mind, simplifies organization, and ultimately helps people spend more time learning and less time re-finding.
Key features:
✍️ Block-based notes editor with markdown shortcuts.
💭 Bi-directional links to create an interconnected web of thoughts.
🙋 Real-time collaboration for sharing and working with others.
🌐 Browser-based: works on any device with a browser.
📚 Chrome plugin to save and comment bookmarks.
🌳 Automatic map layout tuned for compactness and scannability.
🧠 AI-powered features to enhance your learning.
Together with our community, we've designed Emberly to suit people who juggle lots of info, like students, researchers, and knowledge workers. People use it to make second brains, team wikis, study maps, knowledge libraries, and organize their hobbies.
Recently, we also introduced AI features like a writing assistant, a discussion simulator, an automatic quiz generator, and an AI mind map assistant. Our goal is not only to use AI to help people ideate and create but also to help people leverage all the notes they have amassed to learn and think better.

Emberly has a free tier for casual use, and for today's launch, we've added a special discount for the premium plans.
We hope you give Emberly a try. We'd absolutely love to hear your feedback!
Cheers to clearer minds and happier learning! 🧠✨
Hello product hunt! 👋
I am Leif, Ginas co-founder.
To clarify, we are not a large company, it really is just the two of us.
Gina is the designer, I am the developer, and for the past 3 years, we have sacrificed blood, sweat, and tears to make Emberly what it is today.
We struggle with social anxiety, so we did not have high expectations in terms of launch results.
But for some reason we managed to get featured, and I just wanted to say thank you to whoever made that happen, from the bottom of my heart!
We are grateful!
Btw, here is a video tutorial showing the system in use, with a bit less fluff:
