Edexia

AI Teaching Assistant for grading papers
Edexia can grade assignments from any curriculum, year level, subject or format. It learns like a teacher, visually breaking down its understanding of the rubric and updating this as a teacher corrects its grading — always keeping them in control.

What do you think? …

Hey all, if you know an educator who's buried in student papers and could really benefit from saving grading time, send them our way! Work in education yourself? We'd love to talk and see if your institution could benefit from this technology, book a chat with me any time: https://calendly.com/daniel-edex... We want to transform education by facilitating the safe and effective integration of AI across all institutions and applications. Not using AI to replace teachers but rather to empower them—providing them with all the time and resources they need to develop their students. What are your thoughts on AI in education?
Anton Osipov
Congrats on the launch! I'm sure that AI is already becoming an integral part of the educational process and Edexia is an excellent example of this. I love how flexible your system is, especially the manual adjustments possibility. Nevertheless, I believe the current version of the interface might be overwhelming. You could significantly improve it by establishing a clear visual hierarchy among all interface components. It isn't a simple task since you need to present a lot of information, but it's definitely possible. In short, consider reducing the number of colors, incorporating more grayscale tones, refining text line height and spacing between interface elements. Combined together, these measures will reduce users' cognitive load.

@anton_osipov Hi Anton, I completely agree. We are doing a design re-vamp in 3 weeks to make it perfectly intuitive and seamless. Thanks for sending through some great ideas!

What happens if a teacher’s corrections conflict with Edexia’s previous learning?
Daniel Gibbon
@vishal_bansal003 Right now, Edexia will assume that the teacher has 'changed their mind' and update it normally. However, we are building a system that will 1.notify the teacher of the potential conflict and 2. If they are part of a group of teacher utilising it, the one lead teacher be notified of conflicts
