After a negative queueing experience and stumbling onto Bubble, I decided to build this simple platform using Bubble to help business to better manage their queue at their locations.
One fine day when I was visiting a popular Japanese food chain (20 over outlets) for my dinner, I was initially happy that no physical queue was required as our particulars will be taken and they will contact us when it is our turn. To my shock, a company of their size actually uses Google sheets to manage the queue.
I started to do some quick research and realised a lot of companies locally still either require their customer to physically queue up (hot and boring), or they use hardcopy papers to manage the queue. When I managed to chat up with them, they said most tools are either very expensive or too complicated for their simple business needs.
At the same time, I was challenging myself to use my weekends to build something on Bubble, since I am also very into the no-code.
P.S - Even though I am in technology and product. It's been more than 18 years since I last actually coded.
I started on 14 Aug and a few weekends (and couple of weekday nights) - EasyQ is finally launched today on 5 September 2021
