Sometimes us front-end devs just want to use real life data from various API's for our web projects, without having to worry about writing and deploying backend code that handles the authentication dance. Easyoauth makes this problem go away.

Hi there product hunt! As a (mostly) front-end developer who is constantly tinkering on various web app ideas, I often found myself wanting to leverage other API's that are protected using the OAuth2 protocol. This meant that I would have to: * Read the API docs on handling authentication * Write some back-end code to implement it * Deploy this back-end code somewhere All I really wanted to do is focus on building my web app and not have to worry about authentication. There are other products out there that could solve this for me, but I found that again, I would need to read through a load of documentation and end up having to use someone else's SDK. This was my motivation for building an alternative where the setup would be quick and simple. I have even created an example React app that demonstrates how easily front-end code can integrate with an Easyoauth project: https://github.com/easyoauth/Eas... Easyoauth can connect to most API's that use the OAuth2 protocol for authentication, such as: * Github * Slack * Facebook * Jira * Stripe * Salesforce And many more. You can sign up with either your Github or Google account. I have also setup a Slack channel for anyone that needs any help with setting up their Easyoauth project. Looking forward to any feedback!
