Switching from Kindle to Kobo, I wanted to have my own repository of highlights & notes made while reading.
I tried some available alternatives out there, but none really checked all my boxes: they either couldn´t handle side loaded content, or couldn´t set up the bookshelf by drag & dropping the order of the books like my actual bookshelf at home, or simply were too expensive for me.
So I built this webapp exactly for that. It is free to use, the only locked feature behind a (quite cheap) subscription is the option to upload cover images for the book cards, but the core value of searching across devices is free
