@adam_g3 Hey Adam, I've recently upgraded to Droidcam pro. Can you elaborate the technical differences between DroidCam Pro and OBS version?

Hey @christian_hammerschmidt, the new app is essentially a re-write almost entirely from scratch. The OG apps were released in 2010 and after ~10 years of support it was time for a refresh. But due to the unexpected surge in users in 2020, support for the apps had to keep going and a bunch of new code from D-OBS actually got ported over under the covers. The new app kept a different focus; longer term I would like for it to evolve into a more plug-n-play camera solution.

Phone app is available for both Android and iOS. Clients are available for Windows and Linux only.

Been using it since the pandemic started. Even paid for the Pro version. It just works fine, simple need, simple app. It's perfect. Maybe some synchronization issues between sound and imagen, but nothing outragerous.
