First of all, a big shoutout to @kevin for hunting Dravter and giving us the opportunity to share it with the community. Today I'm so excited to share with you my latest project, Dravter! As a solo designer, I quickly realized that userflow, wireflow, and wireframe are important steps in the process of designing a user interface. However, I found that these processes were not efficient for me as a solo designer. I was using different software like Balsamiq and having to redo my work when designing the real UI components in Figma. This was a frustrating and time-consuming process that I knew needed to be improved. As I worked on client projects, I noticed that I often used the same basic components for each mobile UI project. This realization led me to the conclusion that a neutral yet expandable UI kit is essential for any designer, especially for solo designers like myself. I also spent a lot of time collecting inspiration for mobile UI patterns that were relevant to my projects through websites like Mobbin. But even after spending hours collecting them, I still had to create the screen designs on my own. These realizations inspired me to build Dravter, a Figma toolkit that could serve as the ultimate starting point for any mobile project. I spent months researching and developing a comprehensive toolkit that included two libraries that can be swapped out anytime, the Mobile Draft Kit.fig and the Mobile Design Kit.fig. After using Dravter on my own client projects and making various iterations, I think it is ready to be shared. So, Hello world!
