downtime is a social discovery app for college students to make new friends during their downtime. Whenever you're waiting between your next class, create a hang on downtime and find someone with similar interests to study, grab lunch, or do anything with!

Hey Product Hunt family!!! I've been working on this passion project since February 2022. We started designing the app and finally began coding in June 2022. We recently launched November 2022 exclusively to the University of Houston and garnered 200 downloads on the first day and we're currently sitting at 450 downloads. Currently, there is not much activity on the app as it is very slow beyond use. We're set to relaunch the app at the start of the next semester around the middle of January. We're hoping to achieve product market fit and launch to more universities. From there, explore possibilities of implementing this social platform for private communities such as apartment complexes, gyms, hotels, resorts, focus groups, or any large organization with 500+ members and want a way to facilitate better social connection!
