Think about the last time you watched Netflix or TikTok without subtitles. There's a video called "Why we all need subtitles now" posted this year with over 10M views. Several big-tech companies have published studies that show over 90% of mobile videos are consumed on mute. If you want to reach your viewers you need to have subtitles.
——Who am I——
I am Bojan, I worked at Google for 3 years and I recently decided to take a leap head first by going full time on my business. A bit about me: I have been developing iOS apps for over a decade now, my first internship was at the company that built one of the first NFTs (CryptoKitties). I previously won a scholarship to Apple's WWDC. I was born in Serbia, moved to the west coast of Canada when I was 2 years old, and recently fulfilled my dream of moving to NYC.
——How I built this——

It made a huge impact on me and I built a very quick proof of concept that month. But for too many legal reasons, I could not launch. In early 2020 a mobile speech-to-text app with the user-experience I had in mind did not exist, the idea was revolutionary. Now in mid-2023 with the AI-boom the idea has withstood the test of time. With my newly acquired skills from working at one of the biggest companies in the world, I productionized Double Subtitles and now I am unbelievably excited to be announcing its launch.
What I am most proud of is reaching my first 100 users with absolutely 0 crashes. My next goal is to reach 10 paying users to be able to continue with my dream.
