Very clever. I love technology that uses existing "dumb" infrastructure to make it more useful. The Misfit Bolt, a connected lightbulb that plugs into existing sockets, is another example of this. This could be particularly useful for businesses that want to automatically buzz people in during business hours.

I built this for our office at 42Floors -- let's us open the front door automatically during the week and during special events.
