Interesting choice to have Adsense on your homepage. Was the revenue for that ad tested against impact on conversion? Certainly makes the site seem less trustworthy IMO.
@stan hi 👋 I hadn’t thought about advertising as something that made websites ‘less trustworhty’ That’s an interesting view point. The advertising space on the home page will eventually be reserved for complimentary brands or full site takeovers. As a free service for users we’ve got to get creative in how we bring in revenue. How would you have done it differently if it was your site?
@jessicaj38 I wouldn't put an ad on the homepage if it were my site. The goal of the homepage is to get users to sign up, and then you can engage them and monetize their engagement.
I've found heaps of "friends" to share my dog-owning responsibilities with
.
Pros:Easy to use - great GUI
Cons:Didn't get onto this sooner!
It's been a product that I've had my eyes on for some time now and I'm so excited to actually give it a go!
Pros:Easy to understand map interface
Cons:I didn't know about this sooner
