Google document is the great writing tool but it's not good for distributing your e-book. So Docs2Book will solve this by converting your Google Document into readable page where your user subscribe to view the content either by email or payment.
Hi hunters,
A few weeks back I decided to work on Docs2Book to work on this problem. I saw that Google document is the super tool for writing but when comes to sharing it lacks the few characteristics and that's what the starting point of Docs2Book.
It combines the idea of sheet2site.com by @andreyazimov and makebook.io by @levelsio. They both created an awesome tool and wanted to create something like that so this Docs2Book is a no-code way to create the perfect Makebook like e-book for your brand.
Using Docs2Book is simple and it’s doesn’t even ask your Google account. All you have to do is log in to https://docs2book.com and then share your google document to docs2book@gmail.com and then the document will appear automatically.
Still very early to launch but I'm really interested in your thoughts about this product.
Hello Raja, thanks for having created this interesting and useful tool. I see that https://makebook.io/ is already using it quite effectively.
I am interested in writing a short review for tools.robingood.com and wanted to sign up, but when I tried to do so I got this message and thought useful reporting it to you.
I did proceed through that screen by clicking on Advanced and then was prompted with authorizing a bunch of very sensitive info: all of my Google files and all of my names and emails of people I share Google files with.
I think it would help having a little extra preparatory info by you on why you need to access all of my Google Files and why you need also to see names and emails of my collaborators. This would help install a more trustful context as no-one in his right mind would authorize those actions after having received a warning message like the first one I got.
Keep up the good work!
Robin
The phrase which you have used elsewhere on your public pages "Well, it’s so simple and it’s doesn’t even ask your Google account. All you have to do is log in to https://docs2book.com and then share your google document to docs2book@gmail.com and then the document will appear automatically." is on the other hand totally reassuring and would make a huge difference to have this as I sign-up rather than the very bad warning messages from Google.
My two cents.

Hi Robin,
I've requested to review my OAuth to Google, and they are considering it. I didn't know Google OAuth is taking so many days ( several days) to review my application. Once they reviewed and approved, then only that bizarre warning will go away.
I'm redesigning my main homepage now. I will mention it like Docs2Book going under OAuth review by Google, and If you wish to continue, you may encounter "A warning page by Google."
That's why I've mentioned, " If you're not ready, then share to your google document to docs2book@gmail.com," and once they share, I will log in and share their ebook viewer documents via shared email.
I've to be honest about Google OAuth permission, and it's so weird. I only need to look into your Google Documents, but the OAuth wants me to implement all drive file agreements. Then I can see all your drive files are so out of my hands, although my code will only look into your Google Documents by the file metadata ( "application/documents." ).
Anyway, I don't see any other way to implement this idea without Google OAuth.
