first launch of doc2exam! (beta quality but still decent I think)
I'm very excited (and relieved!) to have finally reached this milestone, and I can't wait to add tons of new features and adapt to feedback!
I'm trying to first create and monetize individual building blocks of rockstart.ai -- this being my end-goal above all financial incentives, so this is how doc2exam was born.
you can turn any material into a fully-fledged live exam that you can send to your students (or yourself) who can take it online, and receive a perma-url certificate like on Coursera (which you can attach to your linkedin or whatever).
the idea is to have the examination part of a course completely automated, while the teaching itself is still driven by a human (as per neoducation.org manifesto).
I'm all eyes and ears on any kind of feedback
also, don't hesitate to reach out if you need some credits
While I already know other flashcard generation tools, it’s interesting to see this pushing towards actual real exams. I think there’s a long road ahead to convince professors, who are pretty resistant to tech (and already overwhelmed with buch of ai stuff), but I really hope you succeed. You clearly put a lot of effort into this and seem to have a longer-term plan for the education space.
I say go for it! The UI/UX is solid—you just have to convince professors that they need this (because I think they actually do)
@adrian_nicolae_paunescu thanks Adrian for checking it out! yeah still a long road ahead, and I'll really have to bet on organic network growth via recommendations from, irl will help too
while i don't need the product right now ( i'm past the point of exams), I do see how this can take care of the more boring work, creating exams and scoring them, so the teachers can focus on teaching. gj anyway, hope this takes off.
