Having Dispatch made slack usable again for me. It's removed all of the mental energy required to stay on top of busy channels, not miss urgent messages, and digest low-urgency channels.

Before Dispatch, I was way too comfortable with the "Mark Unread" option. Inefficiently reading, and re-reading the same message over and over until the time of taking action could align with when I viewed it. Why not just use Slack Reminders? Well, you my friend must not be an avid user of Slack because… Well, they suck. All-in-all my entire team (me included) was inundated with less important channel messages (if you also use Slack as your company's brain, you'll understand this), and the important/time-sensitive messages always fell by the wayside. Slack simply was not a joy to use, but rather a time-sink. After Dispatch, I actually… Enjoyed checking Slack. (yup 🤯). I'm able to treat Slack like email, triaging through messages (especially in the world with Slack Connect and countless external Slack channels, it's more email-like than ever)—simply put, Dispatch pulls Slack into the modern age of messaging. I can now actually prioritize channels and messages, while easily snoozing and revisiting messages at the critical time that I need to see them again. I actually feel like my team members see my messages on Slack now? It has encouraged my team to also use proper threading, so our Slack is more organized and cleaner than ever. Dispatch just does what Slack could never do, it has made the once overwhelming tool a joy to use. Genuinely dread the idea of not being able to use it again. You simply can't go back. Use it solo or with a team—it makes Slack 2–3x better.

I LOVE Dispatch and cannot live without it, just like I can't live without Superhuman. My company said no to all new SAAS subscriptions except Dispatch because I told them I was saving an hour per day with Dispatch and that if we didn't buy it, then we are just asking me to pay for it out of pocket. The team has also been super responsive to feedback.

Dispatch did to Slack what Superhuman did for my email. I'm on top, on track and feel way calmer about everything coming in. Couldn't recommend more!

Dispatch has actually made checking Slack an enjoyable and productive experience. Prior to Dispatch I would be overwhelmed with the number of notifications, have constant fatigue from re-reading the same messages over and over and trying to stay on top of what was an action item vs an FYI from my team. As a result, I checked it minimally — trying to avoid it as much as possible. When my team member got Dispatch, I told him I wanted in. Within days of using Dispatch and being able to “mark done” the messages I had seen (reducing the constant re-reading of old messages and fatigue) and being able to assign action items to myself, I noticed I actually started enjoying staying on top of things. Slack now feels manageable and not like an overwhelming washing machine of messages and notifications. Most of all, my team noticed I was way more on top of just general business notifications and up to date on all the company info that gets passed over to our Slack — eg invoices being paid, new subscribers, leads, etc. And I actually became more responsive on Slack which I noticed my team appreciated immensely. Definitely would not want to go back to using Slack the “old way” again without Dispatch — it’s been a game changer. If you’re thinking of testing it out, do it for a week and see for yourself! Then get your team to use it and watch the real magic happen. Hard to believe this didn’t exist before!
