@armanddp and @howell4change what I like most about Hornet is that it is well rounded. I look forward to seeing additional ways it continues to evolve. Factually speaking, In comparison to dating apps – gay and straight, Hornet already provides more ways to connect with potential partners on top of the usual A/S/L (e.g., hashtags, search, web and mobile access)! Discover is a great addition that I'm using daily to see what people are up to, and to introduce myself to folks I may have never seen without it.
Important side bar for anyone who's unfamiliar: Hornet also provides a deeply necessary link to HIV testing and counseling resources at a time when HIV infection in young people is on the rise, and when (unbelievably) the conversation and access to care for said services are still taboo.
In my opinion, Hornet also touts a better user interface than most. CONGRATS on a job well done.
@thismobilife@howell4change thanks so much for the detailed comment (and the upvote) Mason. One of the additions to discover to look out for is the addition of a health section - this will surface health related information and profiles, and also provide easy access to relevant venues like testing centers. On the dating side we're quite excited to expand on what is surfaced in discover over the next few weeks!
Now there's a smart new way to discover and connect to gay life around you. For a while we've been thinking about how to surface new ways to connect to guys without changing the way you use the app. Starting with this brand new release you'll start seeing more relevant and timely suggestions show up that you'd miss when constrained by ye olde grid. We loved building it and looking forward to introducing more content into discover over the next few weeks. Please let us know any comments or questions!
