Hi 👋 I'm Marcel, the developer of the DevTools for Tailwind CSS. I absolutely love Tailwind CSS, and it's awesome JIT mode – which allows us to use all sorts of variant combinations, make use of before/after classes that were not possible before, or even use completely arbitrary CSS attributes right within Tailwind CSS. But I also love to debug my Tailwind sites right in my browser's developer tools. Things like quickly adding a new class, toggling existing classes, or even just getting the hex code of a Tailwind class color. The JIT mode (by design) removes this ability, in favor of all the beforementioned awesome features. That's why we developed this browser extension. It brings back the development experience that you love right into your browser. I hope that you like this extension as much as I do – I can't imagine working with Tailwind without it anymore. Let me know if you have any questions! Cheers, Marcel

@marcelpociot such a great addition to the Tailwind ecosystem! have the same "issue" with the JIT, so that's super helpful to have!

While JIT in Tailwind CSS is really awesome, it'll let you bang your head when you "just" want to try some little changes. So this awesome little extension brings back the intuitive Tailwind way of developing. Thanks @marcelpociot (et al) - this was an instant buy! 😄 Just hoping for a soon release on Firefox...

@dcsturm Thank you Daniel! We are in touch with Mozilla regarding getting our extension signed for Firefox. The technical part is already done – now its just a matter of getting it into the addon marketplace. 🤞

After struggling for months to tweak layouts and designs using Tailwind CSS with native Browser capabilities, this tool is a true livesaver. Utilizing the JIT mode of Tailwind CSS to enhance the dev-experience like this is genius. Can't wait to design future landingpages together with this! Awesome product from the great team at Beyond Code! I wish you a great launch on Producthunt! :-)
